The IGO Insurance Agency was founded in February 1970 by the members of the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina to provide outstanding insurance products for the automotive repair industry. At that time, there were few insurance carriers providing specialized coverage for the automotive aftermarket industry.
IGO was very instrumental in developing programs and coverage that were tailored to the automotive repair industry. The agency continues to have special expertise insuring automotive-related businesses, even though today the IGO Insurance Agency is a full line Independent Insurance Agency.
